Winter WonderLearn

Clarington Public Library, Courtice Branch
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This Family Day, your family can enjoy a free day of fun at a festival designed to get you active, learn something new, and enjoy time together!

This year’s theme is Flight! You and your family can enjoy interactive activities and learn about the skies! Look through a telescope, make “bird-brained” artwork, and learn all about owls and raptors at shows with special guest The Ontario Specialized Species Centre!

About the Festival

Now in its thirteenth consecutive year, Winter WonderLearn is a day of free family fun! Children and their families can enjoy Family Day together at an event that celebrates Clarington and the family learning opportunities that thrive here. Shake off the winter blahs at this interactive learning festival. Local organizations offer demonstrations and workshops in literacy, arts, sports, history, science, nature, safety, and health.

Throughout the event, families can explore interactive activities, make a craft or two, and have fun together. The festival allows people to learn about the local organizations that make up our community, learn something new, and spend time together as a family!
