Prepare for Battle! Battle of the Books will be waged with teams from schools across Clarington and the Durham Region in this annual book-based trivia competition! In March/April, teams compete in Junior level (grades 4 to 6) and/or Intermediate level (grades 7 and 8), testing their knowledge of a set reading list!

The Forest of Reading® is Canada’s largest recreational reading program, where children and young adults pick the award winners! This initiative of the Ontario Library Association (OLA) offers a range of reading programs to encourage a love of reading in people of all ages. The Forest helps celebrate Canadian books, publishers, authors and illustrators.
