Earn volunteer hours at the library! We are looking for enthusiastic youth in grades 7-12 to join our new Teen Advisory Groups (TAG). TAG members will have a say in library programs and services for teens, assist with children's programs, learn leadership skills, and more!

Students who attend TAG meetings will receive additional volunteer opportunities throughout the year!

Join Conservation Education staff from the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority for an interactive presentation on the importance of wetlands in your watershed and the many animals and plants that they provide a home for. Enjoy an up close and/or hands on experience with two live native reptiles!

Boost your child’s STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills with Ontario Tech University’s Engineering Outreach!

Each c_wonder STEM Workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of the engineering design process as they tackle design challenges that puts their STEM knowledge to the test. Students will get a chance to explore different STEM fields and how engineering can solve its diverse and real-world issues.

Presented in partnership with Engineering Outreach, Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Ontario Tech University.

Please note that caregivers of children under the age of 10 must be present in the Library for the duration of the program.
