Get the skills and confidence you need for a career with technology! This free 10-week after-school program is designed for girls with a wide range of computer science skills. In the Club, girls engage in fun and simple online coding tutorials, build community through interactive activities, learn about inspiring role models in tech, and work together to design solutions to real-world problems facing their communities.  

Presented in partnership with Girls Who Code, a non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology by teaching computer science, bravery, and sisterhood.  

The Girls Who Code curricula are particularly designed and intended to serve those who identify as female, regardless of gender assignment at birth or legal recognition, between the ages of 13 and 18. For more information on Girls Who Code eligibility, please see their website.

Please note that an email address is required, so course materials and further information may be emailed to participants prior to the start of the program.

Children develop speech and language by listening and imitating those around them, but when there is a hearing loss, these skills may be delayed. Nearly four in 1,000 babies are born deaf or hard of hearing and more children develop hearing loss as they grow. 

Sign up your infant for a screening if you have hearing-related concerns, and learn about the follow-up services available to your family.  

Presented in partnership with Markham Stouffville Hospital, the lead agency for the Tri-Regional Infant Hearing Program.

Félicie is a young orphan who has only one passion – dance. With her best friend and budding inventor, Victor, they come up with a madcap scheme to escape their orphanage for Paris, the City of Lights, where she’ll try to make her crazy dream of becoming a prima ballerina at the Paris Opera come true!
