About Nhung Tran-Davies

Nhung Tran-Davies is an author, physician, mother of three, and an advocate for social justice in education. She came to Canada as a refugee from the Vietnam war when she was a young child. She loves to write children’s stories that convey the humanity in our lives. Her books have been shortlisted for the Alberta Literary Award, the Red Maple Award, and the Blue Spruce Award.

• Tuesday, May 3, 11am: Draw and Read Along with Emma Fitzgerald (Grades 5-6)
• Wednesday, May 4, 11am: Learning to Carve Argillite with Sara Florence Davidson (Grades 3-4)
• Thursday, May 5, 11am: The Wild and Wonderful World of Rivers and Forests with Ginalina (Grades 1-2)

This series is being offered in partnership with King Township Public Library, Newmarket Public Library, Oshawa Public Libraries, Pickering Public Library, Scugog Public Library, Vaughan Public Libraries, Whitby Public Library, and Whitchurch-Stouffville Public Library.
