Take part in the second annual Resilience Workshop with the Carion Fenn Foundation, featuring Maria James Shier and CMHA Durham. This workshop will be focusing on compassion, and learning how to recognize, build, or continue to build your resilience to be the best you.

The workshop will involve a presentation, a breakout session with our speakers, and a healing activity. Please join us and share this event so that others may receive needed support or information.

Registrants will receive a confirmation email with full details on how to join the workshop.

About the Carion Fenn Foundation

The Carion Fenn Foundation is a Registered Charity established to provide support, education and resources to individuals impacted by Syringomyelia, Chiari Malformation, Mental Health, Chronic Diseases and Rare Diseases through a variety of health and wellness programs that are free to the public. Their programs include Kids Wellness Forum, Seniors Program, Mental Health Chat, Mental Health Symposium, Mental Health Forum, Resilience Workshop, Rare Disease Expo, Black Open Mic, Anti-Black Racism Forum, Carion Fenn Network (24 hours online support), Health 180 with Carion Fenn on Rogers TV Durham and more.

Their goal is to address the needs of individuals and ensure that no one who is impacted by the physical, emotional or social symptoms of chronic or rare diseases has to go through such devastating challenges alone. As a federal registered charity, they evaluate the needs of the community and implement our programs to support community members.
