Safe Food Handlers Certification (Essential Skills Workshop)

No charge.
Registrants must be 19+ years.

Learn the safe way to handle and prepare food for a variety of kitchens and environments, including restaurants, take-out, catering, food trucks, or working directly with high-risk groups such as children and the elderly. 

Participants must complete one full six-hour course and evaluation to achieve certification. The Food Safety Training Certificate meets the requirements of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and all Health Departments across the province.

Presented in association with Durham College. All programming is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development.
