It is estimated that 25,000 Canadians are diagnosed with dementia every year. The most prevalent form of dementia is Alzheimer’s disease, and its impact on families, the community, and our health system is significant.

Brain health is one of the most important ways of reducing your risk of developing dementia.  This workshop will give you concrete actions you can start today to improve your personal brain health, and identify the services and support that are available in Durham Region for those with dementia as well as their caregivers.

Presented in partnership with Alzheimer Society, Durham Region.
