A new library card is free and there are no age restrictions for having one. Sign up for one at the Circulation Desk of any branch by presenting a piece of identification or official document that has your name and current address on it.

Please notify us of any changes in your personal information, as it is your responsibility to keep your contact information current.

Using Your Card: Sign out any circulating item including books, movies, audiobooks, video games, music CDs and magazines, up to a limit of 50 items on the card.  Also use your card at any branch to access wireless internet service or to use public computer stations.  Your library card also grants you free access to a wide array of subscription databases and other on-line resources with millions of full-text articles on virtually any subject.  Finally, library members have access to various programs for all ages from storytimes to workshops.   Please contact us for more information on these and other services available at Clarington Public Library.

Lost or Stolen Cards: You are responsible for the items borrowed on your card until it is reported missing.  If you lose your card report it immediately by calling Circulation Services at 905-623-7322 x 2709. The fee to replace a lost or stolen card is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children (under age 12).
