Everyone's favourite bounty hunter is back for another go round with Trenton, New Jersey's criminal element.  This time around Stephanie Plum is hunting down the usual assortment of ne'er do wells, but there is a big mystery surrounding the death of her seat mate on her flight back from Hawaii.   Why are Morelli and Ranger sporting black eyes and cut lips? And where do the FBI fit in?

As usual Stephanie manages to get into more trouble than she can handle, but she always manages to land on her feet.  Lula decides she has found her new Prince Charming - who just happens to weigh over 300 Lbs and likes to steal Stephanie's car. Morelli isn't keen on talking to Stephanie this time around and to be honest, I'm not sure I blame him.  How many readers of this series have decided just exactly who Stephanie should end up with?  I know the sensible choice would be Morelli, but I'm still going for bad boy Ranger.

Explosive Eighteen is a laugh out loud tale full of car chases, funeral visitations, explosions, and buckets of chicken!  You can read it on it's own if you haven't read the rest of the series, but I guarantee that if you haven't, you'll want to go back to the beginning and find out where it all started.
